To begin, I think it’s important to start by saying there’s absolutely nothing wrong with using our natural, eye-hand coordination to break targets. Literally, billions of targets have been broken this way . . . but not consistently. To break targets consistently—on purpose—takes a certain amount of correctness built into each set-up and swing, deliberately. Another successful business year at Paragon, I am indeed privileged and blessed to have so many happy students who are learning and enjoying their lessons. New and experienced students are taught how to self-correct the missed target and get the X on their next swing – on their own – so they can do this successfully when they return to their home club.  Additionally, they learn how to create, and then duplicate the successful shot – on their own – for the same reason.
