The Best Shooting Method

Hello again…or maybe this is your first time here? Either way, I very much appreciate your stopping by. That you are here says you may be looking to improve your shooting? If that’s so let me begin by saying, most definitely, there are answers to your good questions. As all of us search for those answers…what’s better or best in our game…we might want to remember that there can be more than one consideration on the table. Here are a few of those considerations that can assist in finding the “best” answer.   Let’s look at a discussion on shooting methods…a common topic on shooting forums and rightfully so. Here’s ...

Competent, personal instruction will never be one-size fits all. It can’t be. No two shooters are ever the same. Goals differ. Skills differ. Personal habits and traits differ. Confidence levels go from one end of the spectrum to the other. Equipment selections vary greatly; some being an asset, some not. And none of these differences have touched on physical issues that may be affecting my student’s shooting. While instruction may be universal in a few regards . . . much of it isn’t. Denise was the newer, less experienced shooter. A take charge lady with ...

Literally, billions of targets have been broken this way . . . but not consistently. To break targets consistently—on purpose—takes a certain amount of correctness built into each set-up and swing, deliberately. None of which are required . . . unless you decide to seek more consistency, better shooting performances, and higher scores. If you are one of these individuals, the basics, the fundamentals, become indispensable. Good shooters know this, which explains why their swing looks so smooth, so controlled. It would be ...

Here's a discussion from the Paragon Facebook page regarding Wingshooting and Lead that may be of interest: Paragon School of Sporting Inc. Facebook Post (January 25, 2017): Tim Mccabe I miss we all do but not too often LOL. If I get the chance I would Paragon School of Sporting Inc. One shooter, who was having trouble bird hunting, called to schedule a lesson. I ask what prompted his call? He told me he was "tired of disappointing his dog!" Ah, felt so bad for him. It's easy to get on the right track when you have someone like Daniel Schindler, who's worked with thousands of shooters, teach you how build a swing and call your own misses so you can ...
